In the spring of 2006, Andrew Kopplin opened his shop with the concept of coffee quality as its number one goal.  Espresso would be prepared with the utmost attention to the craft, in the European tradition of professionalism.  Drinks would be made in their traditional sizes emphasizing quality over quantity.  Coffee would be brewed to order, showcasing individual coffees from around the world that are either too rare, expensive, or both to be served in the more familiar method of brewing an entire pot.

Coffee can be an adventure.  It's the most complex beverage (far exceeding wine) known to humans, with flavors that cannot be found elsewhere.  To explore the world through coffee is to travel through tropical highlands of the earth, some of the most exotic places to be explored.

Kopplin's Coffee invites everyone to enjoy the journey as we seek all the possibilities that coffee can be... from a well-crafted latte with the rosetta pattern on top, to the notes of dried spice and raisin in a Colombian micro lot.   Come...sip...and enjoy.
