Kopplin's is moving to 2038 Marshall Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55104. Join us for our reopening on Friday, November 25th. We look forward to seeing you in the new neighborhood!
Throughout the last five and a half years, Kopplin’s has considered its role in the local community and the wider world. We’ve tweeted, posted and blogged about it. Above all, we’ve talked about it with coworkers, customers, and friends. As the result of this ongoing conversation, we’re ready to take the next steps towards finding that perfect place to linger.
We’ve worked hard to establish and refine our core values. Here are a few ways we hope to engage with them in the new space:
Quality
We believe that quality comes not from a sense of elitism, but from a sense of place. We’re looking forward to creating a series of events that highlight our relationships with our suppliers and their unique products. We also focus on the quality of experience, and the importance of surroundings. We want to bring together the best of the old space with some enhancements in the new to create a comfortable space for savoring conversation, flavor, and a variety of handmade goods.
Sustainability
Sustainability is a complicated issue, and one we’re always trying to think about in new ways. Part of our move involves creating a sustainable culture by encouraging in-house beverages over the constant rush of to-go drinks, which take a big toll on our lives and the environment.
Community
While we will always remember our first location with fondness, we look forward to expanding our ties to the community in our new location. We’re excited to engage with neighboring businesses on Marshall and take advantage of great access to bikes and buses. We’re also looking forward to finally having space for the bar seating and community table we’ve always wanted
We know that once we move, things will continue to change and evolve with Kopplin’s, but we also know that all of you will be there to support us along the way. Thanks for pulling up a chair and joining us in the conversation.
